Support the Strike Team

birch forestThe New Jersey Invasive Strike Team, although unique in terms of mission and methodology, is like virtually all non-profits when it comes to paying the bills. We rely heavily upon the generosity of people who believe that what we are doing is important and worthy of their investment. We work hard to make sure that every cent of every dollar entrusted to us is used to address the very real threats that invasive species pose to our state's natural heritage and economy. We do this by coordinating an all-encompassing effort to find and destroy emerging invasive species before they can become widespread across our state.

Our work to keep alien invaders out of New Jersey has received a significant boost with grants from the U.S. Forest Service, Natural Resources Conservation Service, the Geraldine R. Dodge Foundation and other funders. These grants are helping us to expand our work in woodlands and revolutionize the way we all can identify and report invasive species by developing and launching smartphone apps customized for the species of concern to us here in New Jersey.

The Strike Team became an independent, non-profit organization just a few years ago. Our grantors have demonstrated their understanding that protecting New Jersey from new invasive species requires long-term vigilance and their belief that we are making good headway. You can do the same through your interest and support, and we hope that you will consider making a tax-deductible donation to help us raise funds for operating expenses that grant funding won't cover in 2017.

To make a contribution via credit card, please follow the Donate button below. If you would prefer to make a contribution with a check, please follow this link to download, complete and print a Donation Form, and then mail it with your check to the Strike Team.
